Safe place (inspired by We Write Poems)

In the midst of the chaos
The pain and the fear
There’s a safe place
Always near, always here
Between what was
And what will be
The present moment
Is waiting for me
To let go of my thoughts
To relax with what is
Apart from right now
Nothing exists
