Suspended Reality (for Sunday Scribblings)

When I suspend my beliefs for just a moment
Let go of what I grasp at as real
I enter the space beyond the stories
The gap where past and future don’t exist
And dwelling in that concept-less abyss
Allows me to see clearly
What my true nature is

  1. You are lucky, I can never work out what my true nature is! As for dwelling in a concept-less abyss I would find that depressing. This piece gives much food for thought.

  2. I love the concept of suspending belief and what we believe is real... only then can we truly know what might be. Excellent piece!

  3. 'The space beyond stories'.... I love that concept, although I can't imagine it.

  5. Without this type of suspension, I'd imagine that life might pose a number of limits. I love the thought of entering the space beyond what is set in stone. :)
