Peerless (inspired by Writer's Island)

There’s nothing like
The grace of a camel
Its swagger is met by none
Unfazed it sways
With lazy movements
Never rushed or hurried
Strolling along
In the effortless style
Of someone who
Just doesn’t give a shit

  1. This poem says all that needs saying about the camel. My OH is somewhat obsessed with them, has done a series of embroideries which hang on the wall beside the woodburner, and has just started another, of just a head, and your poem epitomises the character of this peerless animal.
