The Nature of the Mind (inspired by Sunday Scribblings)

The Nature of the Mind

Clean
Pure
Pristine
Its essence

Luminous
Warm
All-pervading
Its qualities

Ultimately
It always has been
And always will be
Perfect

  1. And what is so awesome about that is that each mind is individual and perfect for the individual that contains it. What we do with that perfection is always our choice.

  2. Thanks for your comments. I just love the Buddhist idea of the true nature of the mind. It's so liberating and beautiful.

  3. How I wish my mind's like that. It's been polluted for the longest time, so I'm not sure if I could still clean it up.

  4. Hi Manech. According to Buddhism, that doesn't matter. All our minds have been polluted for lifetimes but that pollution is just superficial, like stains on a window - the true nature is never affected by it. That's exactly why I love the idea ;-)
